WELB LISTING DELAYS, CURRENT IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF CRYPTOS
In February 2021, WellBe Coin launched its innovation and project to the world. The only crypto that combines Blockchain technology and the Fitness industry. The development process for this complex and ambitious project has seen some twists and turns and delays, as many other projects have encountered before it. It is not unusual, in fact, for a large-scale project to be forced to delay certain phases of its launch, in order to ensure that it is brought to the market under optimum conditions for its growth. This unfortunately leads to some trust issues within its community. So let’s take a closer look at a project that experienced similar delays.
ICP : a crypto with late beginnings and dazzling growth
The ICP token created by the company DFINITY (Switzerland), whose colossal and highly innovative project aims to develop technology that supports the next generation Internet Computer blockchain network and ecosystem, has had a difficult start and a very late launch on the public markets.
DFINITY was founded by Dominic Williams in October 2016 and registered as a non-profit foundation in Zug (Switzerland) ICP has never had a public ICO instead it has had several rounds of fundraisers which started with crowdfunding in 2017, raising $ 4 million in BTC and ETH. This was followed by private fundraising events at around $ 0.036 per token, generating a total of over $ 195 million.
ICP also dropped 147 tokens per user who signed up for the DFINITY newsletter in September 2020, equivalent to 35 million Swiss Francs.
Listing finally did not take place on Coinbase and Binance until July 2020 with a first token price of € 7.60. So 4 years later. First growth peak recorded in April 2021 when 1 ICP = 224€62 and in May 2021 when it reached its maximum recorded to date: 616€84, to be listed today at 36€63.
ICP is one of those groundbreaking projects that can forever change the Internet landscape. It has a very strong use case with a clear vision to free the internet from centralization. Supported by a strong team of developers, the project is also financially stable. However, after going through the ecosystem, it is not difficult to say that the project is somewhat centralized and that major control is in the hands of the DIFINITY foundation. This is totally contrary to a blockchain technology that was created around decentralization.
WellBe Coin and its beginnings
In February 2021, the company launched an Airdrop campaign to build its first community and promote the WELB around the world. Followed-up by a Bounty which precedes the ICO launched in April 2021.
This ICO is a small fundraising which should allow the technological development of the project, authorizing the creation of its own DEX/DEFI and bringing the best of blockchain to the industry that it aims: Fitness.
The ICO reached its Soft Cap (150,000 €) in July 2021. An attempt to list on Coinsbit in August 2021, has resulted in a “hold” of trading on this platform, because technical problems encountered on it, accumulated with the Dumpings operated by some Airdrop campaign winners . In order to prevent this savage devaluation of the WELB on Exchanges, the team decides to proceed with a new fundraising aimed at providing the necessary liquidity to put the token in “Trade” at a price of €0.15.
An IEO is underway on IndoEx, as well as an IDO on the project platform, for those who do not wish to go through a centralized system. Unlike the ICP token, we will not postpone the listing of our project for 4 years. It is scheduled for the month of December, and at the latest, depending on the results of ongoing fundraising, first quarter 2022.WellBe Coin is also launching its Decentralized Platform (V2) for Staking, and Trading via Pancakeswap for early December.
WELB holders will be able to exchange their current tokens against WELB V2 (audited and secure contract), but also Staker, and earn rewards in BNB or USDT. Other features are coming to this Platform.
In conclusion :
All crypto projects do not go through the same course, and sometimes readjusting the schedule to ensure the longevity and stability of the project is essential. Of course, this can frustrate some and create a certain loss of confidence. However, the success of a project lies in its purpose, its team and its community. If the WellBe Coin project appealed to you and you own some WELB today, it is because you saw great potential in it. Do not give up when the team announces the delay but also the big improvements of the project, of which you will be the first beneficiaries.
